Kelham Island Museum Wedding

Kelham Island Museum is seriously one of my favourite Sheffield city centre wedding venues. It's such an unusual venue and quirky venue, ideal for the wedding which wants to step away from the traditional and add a bit of quirky, industrial character to their day. The staff are absolutely fantastic and I honestly can not rate them enough. Set in the centre of Kelham Island amongst loads of unique industrial buildings and streets it’s perfect for weddings with couples who really want a true steel city wedding.

Steel City Vibes

I met David and Ruth back in 2018 at the Kelham Island wedding fayre and knew that no doubt about it, Kelham Island was the perfect fit for them. As huge lovers of Steel city and chilled out vibes Kelham lent itself perfectly to their plans and would result in a wedding bursting with the ultimate chill factor. I was sold.

As a couple with a keen eye for details and making sure their characters shone through in everything, it’s no surprise that all the details were on point. From tables themed by the places they’re travelled, to personalised beer as wedding favours (errr yes please) everything was bursting with character.

An Irish Party

From start to finish the day was full of so much fun and so many laughs. Family had travelled far and wide, with most of Ruth’s coming from Ireland and bringing the Irish charm with them. Chilled out and full of character it really was a wedding cram packed with the party vibes. As soon as the band cranked up the volume it really wasn’t long before the party really started and some serious dance moves were on show. It really does go to show that the Irish really do know how to party.
