Sheffield Botanical Gardens Family Photography

With things being much quieter this year on the wedding side of things, thanks to the virus that shall not be named, I’ve been filling up the spaces in my diary with some truly gorgeous family photography sessions instead.

Thanks to so many of you asking about them, the family mini sessions are now back and I am so pleased that they are. Last weekend marked the start of them and saw the return of one of my beloved 2017 wedding couples

Bringing Back Memories

I photographed Dale and Rachel’s big day nearly 3 years ago now (wow how quick has that gone by guys) at the lovely Peak Edge Hotel and we have stayed in touch ever since. I’ve seen their marriage grow. Seen them buy and renovate their own house. Followed Rachel’s pregnancy journey and seen their little family blossom with the birth of their baby girl Ayda. Seen Ayda grow from a teeny tiny baby to a gorgeous, cheeky little 1 year old and both Dale and Rachel take parenting completely in their stride. So it’s no surprise that when Rachel contacted me to capture their little family I jumped at the chance to do so.

Adventure In The Park

Having a 1 year old myself, I know how much toddlers love to explore. So what better way to allow them to do that than an adventure in Sheffield Botanical Gardens.

Taking a leisurely stroll around the park with the patter of little feet following us, Ayda absolutely loved it. Playing in amongst the flowers, skipping stones, and even meeting a squirrel or two, she delved right in and just wouldn’t stop smiling all morning. She’s such a little cutie, I dare you not to smile whilst looking through their photos from the day
